She is an accredited AWTA and AKC Earthdog judge and an active breeder of Border Terriers. The current needs and skill level of the dog determine the curriculum. The dog is allowed to progress as far and as fast as it is able during the available time period. Private training is the most time and cost-efficient way to acquire new skills or correct problems. While two widely separated time slots are permissible in a single day, only a single session each day ois recommended. These sessions are held rain or shine.

Ev-Ry Earthdog is pleased to initiate the training sessions specifically designed for the hunting terrier. The program is especially tailored to teach the site recognition, control, casting, recall and scenting associated with the AKC Master Earthdog hunt-up but it is equally valuable for any terrier that will be used for hunting in addition to hole work. The program is open to and suitable for any potential hunter and there is no title requirement for enrollment. Training takes place over fair hunt country with an instructor experienced in working a variety of breeds and quarry. Dogs in training will go out in braces or a bye dog will be provided. Live quarry is used to provide the dogs with frequent rewards for their efforts in hunting out scent lines and air scenting along the course.
The first of these sessions will be held Thursday, June 17th beginning at 10:00AM. One hour slots are available. Tuition is $100 per brace per hour. Single dog is $100 per hour. We will try to assemble braces if at all possible.
